Administrative history

Photographer of celebrities, actors, dancers, and musicians from the 1920s through the 1960s. There actually were two Maurice Seymours, Seymour and his brother Seymour Zeldman, both born in Russia. In 1929, they formed their "Maurice Seymour" studio in Chicago. In 1950, they moved to New York and both legally changed their names to "Maurice Seymour."
