Description

Includes a hand-written draft (in Russian), “Belovo,” and a type-written draft, “Basilica Near the Village of Golemo Belovo: Report of the Excavations (continuation),” which are related to the article on the Basilica at Belovo published by André Grabar and William Emerson in The Bulletin of the Byzantine Institute in 1946. The pen and ink drawings and watercolors relate to the type-written draft and are numbered and annotated in Russian and English on their versos. Folder also contains a list of “Materials sent to Professor L.S. Moore” dated October 1937 and a hand-written draft for an “Article de Kondakov.”
