The author is unknown, but the field director and architect for the excavations was Sergěj Ivanovič Pokrovskij from the Archaeological Institute of Bulgaria. Folder also includes English translations of articles by André Grabar: “The Painted Red Church;” “Paintings of the ‘Red Church’;” “The frescoes of the Red Church;” “The paintings of the Red Church;” and “The Red Church.”
