Description

Inscription on upper cornice: in east arm (sections 1-3), and south arm (sections 4-6). Imprinted in ink: "Fethiye Camii Upper Cornice"; on verso in pencil: "Istanbul Fethiye Camii painted inscription"; on verso in ink: "6 Istanbul - Fetiye Camii Painted inscription - front (?)"; accession numbered imprinted on verso: 1995.F2729. The actual inscription is painted on the upper cornice in gold on blue ground. The print is a copy of a tracing of the inscription.
