Description

Column bases date to the original construction of the church and possibly earlier. The cross atop the dome is dated through inscription to 1859.
The cross was among many works looted from the church following the Turkish occupation of Cyprus in 1976. It has since been returned to Cyprus and housed in the Byzantine Museum of the Archbishop Makarios III Foundation in Nicosia.
